Would you like the opportunity to get your foot in the door at NASA and gain real-world experience for your resume? Interested in programming, artistic design, 3D CAD Modeling, augmented reality, technical writing, or directly contributing to future space missions? This is a life-changing opportunity to become part of a team of faculty and students already on the path to design and create an augmented reality spacesuit system for NASA.
We are looking for art, English, computer science, engineering, and math students to come together and contribute to our project for NASA’s Spacesuit User Interface Technologies for Students. The first proposal is due December 15th, so we are hoping to bring interested students onto the team now!
The project group meets in the Brown Library – Main Floor – every Tuesday from 11am-1pm to discuss ideas and progress. We also meet every Thursday from 11am-1pm in Webber 308 to work together in person on generating ideas and writing our proposal.
To get started on getting involved or find out how you can contribute, join the google group: https://groups.google.c
If you are having trouble joining the group please email the project manager, Casey Stangel, at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the meetings
