June 6, 2016 – SSC Workgroups Update
The Implementation Team for the SSC has shared that the SSC Director has been selected and will be starting mid-June. Stay tuned for further information about the individual who will play a major role in shaping the future of the SSC.
With that hire, multiple wheels are turning in order to provide more definition to the early days of the center.
- The Time & Labor and Absence Management workgroup has made significant progress in defining the initial services and how they will be performed by the SSC, with particular attention paid to identifying the interactions between the SSC and Colleges in service delivery. As previously stated, these initial services will include time administration and calendar processing.
- The Talent Acquisition workgroup continues to work towards identifying and defining the background check service, including assessments of potential providers and packages.
- The newly formed Web Presence workgroup is beginning work to design the external-facing SSC website that will be used by the colleges to access services.
