Description
This course is a great way to learn how to use Canvas with your students and is intended for teachers in a K20+ environment. The techniques and tools in Growing With Canvas are used from kindergarten through medical school and everywhere in between. This course is designed to help teachers learn how to use Canvas effectively in brick and mortar classrooms AND online learning environments. If you are an online instructor, please note that while the course will refer to classrooms the content applies to online environments as well.

- Flowering – Course Settings and Weights, SpeedGrader and Gradebook
- Harvesting – Groups and Collaboration, Copying and Sharing Course
Resources
The content of this course compiles material from 2 primary sources: Canvas Video Guides and the Canvas Help Guides. All of these resources are available at any time, in any sequence, in the Canvas Community (Links to an external site.)
Assessment
Each Module contains required assessments using all the Canvas activity types – Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes.
Additional Info
Format: Participants in this course will watch videos, use Canvas documentation, complete activities, and participate in discussions to learn and apply Canvas features.
Time Commitment: On average 6-8 hours.
