Virginia Western Community College announces an all-in-one iPad class that will teach attendees how to get the most out of their new technology. The latest Apple news, most revolutionary apps and most innovative iCloud features will be explored.
The Fall iPad Event will be held twice: from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7 in Virginia Western’s Natural Science Center in Roanoke; and from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 in the Greenfield Center Auditorium in Daleville. The cost to attend 11/11/11 event is $20 if registration is completed by Nov. 4, or $30 at the door (checks or money orders only). All attendees will be entered to win an Apple Airport Express, provided by Audiotronics. Attendees are asked to bring along their iPads, iPhones or other Apple products.
The Fall iPad Event will focus on features such as FaceTime, Airplay and iCloud that are changing the ways in which people are working, learning and playing. School districts such as Roanoke County and Franklin County are quickly seeing the benefits of this technology, and teachers and administrators are encouraged to attend this class to explore what is possible.
