Like writing poems or short stories? Maybe you’re working on a novel or play. Or maybe you’ve always been curious but have only ever written academic papers before.
Please join Ruff Writers, the creative writing club on campus, for its first meeting today, Thursday, September 30th, at 4pm in the library’s large study room. (This is on the top floor of Brown Library.) Bring your pens, notebooks, imagination, and ideas for what you’d like to write and experience with the club!
Interested in getting constructive feedback on your creative work? Doing fun writing activities and getting assistance putting together a portfolio? How about possibly travelling to see published authors read from their work or give advice on how to navigate the publication process?
If any or all of this sounds good to you, then come on over to Brown Library and join the Ruff Writers, Virginia Western’s own creative writing club! Meetings are held
Tuesdays from 2pm-3pm
Fridays from 3pm-4pm
in room B215, on the top floor of the library. (Come to one or both, whichever works best for you and your schedule!)
