As we approach the end of the Fall 2017 semester, we will need to discontinue Interlibrary Loan service. The following cut-off dates should ensure you have time to place a request and receive the material for final assignments and exams. Please be sure to submit your requests by these dates.
- The last day to request BOOKS through ILL is Thursday, November 30, 2017.
- The last day to request ARTICLES through ILL is Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
We have numerous books and databases to meet your research needs. If you need help identifying materials in our collection, contact a reference librarian: 540-857-7303 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Best of luck as you finish up your semester!
Please note that library services will have reduced hours next week due to Thanksgiving break. Our hours next week are as follows:
Monday, November 20 8am-8pm
Tuesday, November 21 8am-5pm
Wednesday, November 22 8am-12noon
Closed Thursday, November 23 through Sunday, November 26.
Our regular hours will resume Monday, November 27.
We are unable to fill Interlibrary Loan requests between November 18 and November 26. Plan ahead and get those requests in now.
Remember, while we are closed, you can still access our online resources from anywhere with an internet connection. Visit our home page to access databases, as well as a chat service that will connect you with a librarian for assistance, 24/7. Yep, even on Thanksgiving Day! But we hope you will be enjoying a break and not thinking too much about school work.
In addition to being a great source for research materials and help, Brown Library also has popular movies. Treat yourself to a popular movie on us. New DVDs are on the shelf today.
