Welcome back!

Welcome back to campus! We missed you this summer, but we kept ourselves busy with some updates to the library:

  1. You’ll notice some changes on our website. We recently migrated to a new library system, so the way you search for books, DVDs, and anything on Reserve for your class has changed a bit. Check out our new look under the Find Books—Catalog link on the left sidebar of our homepage.
  2. As part of our updated library system, you’ll now get reminders by email. When you check something out, you’ll get an email to let you know the due date. We’ll also send warnings when something is overdue.
  3. A photo ID is still required to borrow library materials. You can obtain a Student ID in the Student Life Center, which gets you access to other stuff on campus, too. Or we can use another form of valid ID, like a driver’s license or military ID.

Our floor is still a silent study space, perfect for concentrating on homework. We still have a bunch of textbooks, lab kits, anatomy models, and other class-related materials in our Reserves. You can bring snacks and drinks to help survive your study sessions, as long as you clean up after. Your library staff members are still here to answer your questions and help you find sources. Email us at or stop by and tell us about your summer! We are here 8am-8pm Monday through Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday, and 9am-1pm Saturday throughout the semester.
