If we don’t have the item you need, we can request it for you from another library that owns it.

Our Interlibrary Loan service allows you to obtain books, articles, and other materials that are not available in Brown Library.  Student requests are honored for materials needed to fulfill the reading and research requirements of the College’s course offerings.  Faculty and staff requests are honored for materials used for work-related inquiry or to support the mission of the college.

Our library databases contain thousands of newspaper, magazine, and journal articles (Information that you can trust!).  To access this information from home, just enter your user name and password — the same user name and password that you use for My VWCC.

Thanksgiving and Extended Saturday Hours

Our hours for the Thanksgiving Day holiday are as follows:

  • Monday, 11/19: 8am-8pm
  • Tuesday, 11/20: 8am-12 noon
  • Wednesday through Sunday, 11/21-11/25: Closed

Thanksgiving MouseSaturday hours at Brown Library will be extended during the last few weeks of class.

  • Saturdays: 9am-4pm (12/1, 12/8, 12/15)
