Brown Library is your one-stop location for a variety of services tailored to helping you achieve academic success. There are also plenty of spaces to study, including computers.

The Testing Center is located on the ground floor of Brown Library.

Sunday Closed

Tutoring, Research, Checkouts, Writing Help, Computer Labs, and more are available on the first and second floors.

Fall 2019 ILL Cut-off Dates

With the end of the semester fast-approaching, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services will be suspended as follows:
Book requests accepted through Friday, December 6.
Article requests accepted through Tuesday, December 17.
Please remember that we cannot guarantee requested material will arrive quickly. Plan accordingly and get your requests in soon. If you need assistance finding resources for assignments, contact the Writing & Research Center: top floor of Brown Library,, or 540-857-7303. There is also a 24/7 Ask-A-Librarian chat service available on the library website.
