Purpose or Role of the Position within the Organization:
To provide assistance to customers of the on- campus bookstore
Duties/Responsibilities of the position and how they relate to the purpose or role
The Team Member will focus on providing exceptional customer service – greeting customers, assisting customers with store inquiries, answering the phone and/or directing callers, and ringing up purchases
using the POS system. They will be required to use safe money-handling procedures and secure transaction practices. They will assist with new team member training. They will ensure that the sales floor is fully stocked and that items are priced properly.
