Adjunct Offices
Locations of available adjunct offices depend on your School. Faculty will be provided with a key to access the rooms. Each office is equipped with work stations, at least one computer with a printer, and a telephone. Please ensure the office door is closed and locked when you leave.
If you prefer to use one adjunct office over another, please notify the School office so that a printer preference may be established by IET.
Art Faculty offices are located in H213B (857-6382). This space includes a Mac computer and telephone. Flat files are provided in H219 to store student work.
All other faculty offices are located in D100 (857-6352), H121D (857-7258), and H219 (857-6005). An email will be sent out at the beginning of each semester telling you when sign-up sheets have been posted at the faculty workstations.
A limited amount of storage space for student work and teaching materials is available in file drawers in D100. A file drawer will be assigned at your request.

Campus Mail
In addition to mail, these mailboxes are used to distribute student assignments, college information, and important administrative paperwork. You will be sent an email notification any time documents of a time sensitive nature are placed in your mailbox. It is recommended you check your mailbox at least once a week.
You will be issued a campus mailbox. In addition to your mailbox, there is a main drop box located in the hall outside D100. You or your students can use this to drop off information after hours. This is a secure box that is checked each morning.
If you need to leave something for a student to pick up, there is a pickup box in the School office. Please label any papers or folders that are left in this box clearly with the student’s name, your name, the class number, and date.
Faculty Schedules
Full-time faculty should complete their schedule in Outlook and share the calendar with the Dean and all office staff; faculty must also post a copy of their semester schedule on the whiteboard outside their faculty office.
For adjunct faculty, a template has been created to assist you with establishing your office hours. To access the document from a computer on campus:
- Open Word
- Click “File – Open”
- From the drop down box, select the Humanities Drive (J:Drive)
- Click “Office Hours Template”
- Select the Blank Form
- When closing the file, please use “save as” and save the document to your files.
This template can also be downloaded in DOC and XLSX formats.
Office hours for all adjunct faculty members must be submitted to the division office each semester by the first day of class.
Office & Classroom Keys
Each full-time faculty office has a unique key. Adjunct faculty offices use the same key as the school’s mailroom.
You will be issued a classroom key, which will give you access to classrooms, general usage faculty offices, copy machines, fax machines and printers. This key opens all spaces except the MAC labs, photo lab and art gallery.
It is your responsibility to keep up with these keys. You may be charged for replacement keys in the event your keys are misplaced. Please keep your office door locked when you are not using it.
Office Supplies
Supplies (such as pens, pencils, legal pads, files, whiteboard markers, etc.) may be available in the mailroom. Please use all supplies wisely and reuse and recycle when you can. If you have any supplies (file folders, notebooks, etc.) that you are no longer using, please bring them to the office staff so that they can be stored for later use.
Printing & Copying
Printing Services is available for duplication of your class handouts, tests, exams, etc., and you are encouraged to utilize this service rather than using the copiers located in the office or adjunct faculty offices. Please allow two to three days turnaround time for print jobs. For more information and to fill out the request form, please visit the Printing Services website.
The copy machines in H-116 and D-100 are for small copying jobs only. Large jobs should be sent to Printing Services. Remember, our budget is very limited. Instructors are encouraged to use Printing Services for their printing needs.
Instructors will be provided a code to use for gaining access to the copier in H-116. No code is necessary in D-100.
