Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program (CCAP) is a series of public/private partnerships with the objective of making college available tuition-free to area high school graduates who meet program guidelines. The program covers the cost of up to three years of full-time tuition at Virginia Western Community College. CCAP supports as many students as possible based on student need and funds available.
CCAP serves the entire Virginia Western service region, including the counties of Botetourt, Craig, Franklin and Roanoke and the cities of Roanoke and Salem.
The Educational Foundation and its Board of Directors is engaged in a renewed, recharged and re-imagined CCAP2 Campaign, building on our transformative impact to grow and enhance the program and its benefits. The Educational Foundation welcomes individuals, businesses, foundations, local governments, community groups, alumni and friends to work with us to strengthen educational opportunities for students, families and industry across the Roanoke Valley.
