Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program (CCAP) pioneered in 2008 – one of the Commonwealth’s first “free college” programs – and is nationally recognized for its unique private-public funding model. CCAP provides tuition assistance for immediate high school graduates who meet program requirements, as funding allows. Students may also have the opportunity to receive tuition for workforce credentials.
CCAP is proud to celebrate 16 years of service, $11.8 million in tuition assistance, 4,496 participants and 37,000 hours of student nonprofit volunteerism. What have we learned in our 16 years? That keeping the promise of CCAP translates to real-world success: CCAP students boast a 91% average success rate. Help us keep the CCAP promise alive for the next generation – and beyond.
