Virginia Western Community College will launch a new MyVWCC portal on Monday, August 12, 2024. Please review the following for more information.
What is changing?
- The general look of MyVWCC will remain the same.
- You may need to reset your password.
- You will need to sign up for the TOTP MFA Multifactor Authentication (MFA) method.
- If you currently use the PING ME – PUSH MFA method with the Rapid Identity App, you will need to set up a new MFA option.
Who will this affect?
- Faculty and Staff will start using the new MyVWCC on August 12, 2024.
- Students will start using the new portal on September 23, 2024.
Why are we moving to a new version of MyVWCC?
- It has been three years since VCCS moved to the current version, which included MFA.
- The new version of Rapid Identity allows quicker updates, patches, and new features.
What do I need to do?
- On August 12, log into the new MyVWCC portal.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to change or set up your settings.
