Students enrolled in spring classes who need to borrow a laptop should complete the online application located at https://www.virginiawestern.edu/library/research-checkout/loaner-laptops/. Students who apply before January 5 will receive first consideration, and the library will notify all applicants by January 9 of eligibility. Laptop checkouts will begin January 10, and students will still need to bring a photo ID to check out a computer on the 2nd floor (top floor) of Brown Library. Students may also be eligible to purchase their own laptop through the bookstore using financial aid funds.
