Now that the semester is underway, we want to remind everyone about a few simple parking requirements. Where to park? Spaces marked with white lines are deemed student parking areas (unless otherwise noted by signage). Areas marked with yellow lines are considered to be Staff/Faculty parking areas. Campus Police ask that both students and employees respect the spaces, and park in their designated areas. Campus Police will enforce parking policy (Policy Number: II-301) and will be issuing parking tickets for violations. Additionally, designated Disabled/Handicap Parking spaces require a DMV Handicap Placard. Stork Parking spaces require a written parking permit issued by Campus Police. 

For those who are new to Virginia Western, please review the college’s Campus Map to familiarize yourself with the parking lots available. If unfortunately, you receive a ticket for a violation, you may follow the parking appeal requirements found within the parking policy; you may also visit the Cashier’s window located on the top floor of Fishburn Hall to square this away. If you have questions or would like to speak with an officer, please contact Campus Police at (540) 857-7979.
