Dear VWCC Faculty and Staff,
I am writing to inform you of an important change in our longstanding partnership with the Virginia Community College system. To better utilize the digital learning landscape, we have rebranded our ODUOnline operation to ODUGlobal. As a result, we will be transitioning away from the current physical space model and returning the ODU office space to Virginia Western Community College.
To continue to provide excellent support to VWCC faculty and staff, Barbie Miller, Operations Intake Coordinator will be your main point of contact for advising or admissions inquiries. Barbie can be reached at bmiller@odu.edu. Student inquiries can complete an inquiry form on our website, www.online.odu.edu, or they can email us at ODUGlobalAdvising@odu.edu. This email is monitored during normal business hours to ensure prompt assistance to students.
We believe these changes will streamline the process for students to connect with ODU. Our primary objective is to connect each student swiftly and efficiently with an enrollment coordinator who specializes in their desired major. Our enrollment coordinators are well-equipped to provide complimentary transcript evaluations, address program-specific inquiries, and guide students through the application process.
Our partnership with VWCC remains steadfast, and we are eager to explore new opportunities and initiatives that will benefit our students and communities. As we progress with these changes, we will keep you informed of any further developments, as well as share best practices for supporting the partnership and our students.
