For Veterans Day, Virginia Western’s Armed Forces Student Association planted a flag garden in front of the Arboretum to honor the 7,076 people who have died in military operations since Sept. 11, 2001. Thanks to the many people across campus who helped. We will be cleaning up the display on Dec. 7, and invite folks to stop by and assist as they are able.
