Please join me in welcoming Jamie Snead, Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications, effective November 10th. Jamie’s office is located in F01A.

Jamie is a graduate of Virginia Western with an AS in Business Administration, Longwood University with a BS in Business Administration/Marketing, and Hollins University with an MA in Liberal Studies/Leadership.

Her professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Marketing and Development at DePaul Community Resources, Marketing Consultant at Carilion Clinic, Public Relations Manager at StellarOne Bank, and Manager of Networking Events at the Roanoke Regional Chamber.

She is experienced in developing and executing organizational strategy for multidivisional for-profit and nonprofit organizations, as well as directing brand, digital and traditional advertising, public relations and recruitment.

Jamie is passionate about the community college mission and thrilled to return to her alma mater as an employee! Over the next few weeks, she will be meeting with department leaders, faculty and staff.
