As part of the Virginia Western family, you know better than anyone that our students need more than a place to start – they need support, risk abeyance and the means to overcome what is stopping them from moving forward.  By supporting the 2022-2023 Employee Giving Campaign, we can all make a real difference in the lives and futures of our students. In light of our students’ greatest needs, please consider supporting one of these top priorities:

1. Virginia Western’s Community College Access Program promises up to 3 years of tuition for eligible high school graduates and needed now more than ever, as nationwide up to 30% of high school graduates are falling through the cracks.  A gift to the  CCAP2 Campaign-All Localities will make college possible and increase enrollment in our entire service area.  CCAP experienced a 40% enrollment increase for 2022 – help us keep our promise to those amazing students!
2. Virginia Western Rapids Response Student Emergency Fund helps our students in crisis- those facing dire employment, housing, food, medical or technology needs.  Response time occurs in as little as 24-48 hours.
3. Virginia Western Student Co-op, fueled by Kroger helps the 30-50% of students right here on our campus fight hunger. No student should ever have to choose between food and their education.
4. The Virginia Western Forward Endowment Fund: a vision of Dr. Charles W. Steger, Jr. builds permanent, flexible and visionary support of the College now and always.
