Who do we want?

We’re looking for friendly students that have done well during their time at Virginia Western and are willing to help others begin their college journey!

What will they do?

Student ambassadors work with our Recruitment Department to help with orientations, tours, and campus events. They also participate in group mentoring and leadership activities.

What do they get?

Virginia Western student ambassadors receive hourly pay during the Summer 2022 semester for training and Discover events, as well as a $1000 scholarship ($500 for Fall 2022 and $500 for Spring 2022.) Being a student ambassador is also a great addition to their resume, allows them to participate both on and off campus, and strengthens their leadership skills and experience.
