Thanks to all those who participated in last month’s Capacity Café. While a variety of input was gathered, several common threads appeared throughout the conversation. Overarching themes included 1) a need for improved communication, 2) the importance of career services, 3) staffing needs, and 4) the need for intrusive advising. Themes that were predominantly absent from the conversation included the needs of adult learners and equity and diversity. You can see more details here. The VWCC Strategic Planning Team and Data Team will be using this information to help determine next steps in our efforts to increase college access and improve student success.
