We are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the You Make the Difference Annual Award through 5 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022.
The You Make the Difference Annual Award is designed to recognize employees whose performance is consistent with the core values at Virginia Western. Examples include employees who go above and beyond to provide excellent service; going the extra mile; meeting challenges; being an integral team member; having a positive attitude in difficult situations; problem solving; recommending solutions or offering new ideas that may or has led to college implementation.
Eligible employees consist of all full-time faculty, full-time classified staff, adjuncts, and regular part-time wage employees. Three recipients will each receive a $200 honorarium with their name and the reason(s) for the nomination posted on the Weekly Bulletin. Supervisors, co-workers, or colleagues can submit eligible employee nominations. Eligible employees may also self-nominate with supporting corroboration. Electronic signatures are accepted.
You may access the nomination form on VW Connect/Human Resources/Rewards and Recognition Forms/Award Nomination Form or by contacting Denise Schuh in Human Resources. Please do not mail nomination forms through inter office mail or place within the Human Resources Suite. Email the completed nomination form(s) and any supporting documentation by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 to dschuh@virginiwestern.edu.
