I am pleased to announce that Jeff Thomas has been named as our new Director of Information and Educational Technology/Chief Information Officer.  Jeff has more than 20 years of technology experience in both the public and private sectors with a focus on the customer service, technology integrations, and data transparency.  He brings with him a vast knowledge of ERP system implementations, standardizing processes, developing automation and operational efficiencies, and strengthening data security.  He is very focused on the end user experience, problem solving, collaboration and process improvement. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Kent State University.  

Jeff will be joining our campus community on Monday, July 12, 2021.  He will be a tremendous asset to our IET Department and the FAS Team.  I know that you will join me in warmly welcoming him upon his arrival.
