Coursework in the Mechatronics career pathway is designed for students pursuing careers in applied engineering, in fields such as advanced manufacturing, process development and control, quality control, computer aided drafting and design, electronics design and repair, and machine installation. The skill sets obtained in this focus area are transferable among many industries. This focus area offers Applied Associates of Science degrees, Career Studies Certificates, and numerous industry recognized certifications. Some AAS degrees are transferable to 4 year institutions.

Program Types
AAS - Designed to prepare students to directly enter the workforce. Some programs may transfer to 4-year institutions.
AS & AA - Designed to transfer to a 4-year institution.
Certificate - Programs that are less than two years in length in an occupational area.
CSC - Programs that are less than one year of length in an occupational area.
Career Training Certifications - Non-credit courses for business and industry training, retraining, and certifications, as well as personal enrichment.
