General Studies
Are you interested in transferring to a four-year college? Do you want to earn your Bachelor’s degree? A degree in General Studies prepares you for numerous fields of study and career choices. A General Studies degree teaches you to think critically, communicate well, problem solve and understand your environment. A General Studies degree also prepares you for degrees in many fields.
Transfer Agreements
Students that graduate from Virginia Western with an associate degree and a minimum grade point average may obtain GUARANTEED admission to more than 30 of the commonwealth’s colleges and universities. Click here for a list of Virginia Transfer Partners.
