Virginia Western Community College is required to develop and implement procedures requiring that a trauma-informed human trafficking awareness and prevention training program be provided to and completed by students required to take a first-year orientation program or course. This training should be included as part of the college’s orientation program as defined by the college. Training must include information on the recognition, prevention, and reporting of human trafficking.
