At Virginia Western Community College, students are defined as individuals enrolled in courses during a specific semester for credit or non-credit (workforce) purposes. This includes:
- Credit Students – those taking credit courses towards a degree, certificate, transfer credits, or personal enrichment/satisfaction.
- Non-credit (workforce) Students – those taking non-credit courses or training for personal enrichment/satisfaction, skill development, industry credentialing, or professional development.
All students must follow the college’s policies and procedures during the semester they are enrolled, unless specifically noted in the policy or procedure that it does not apply.
