General Qualifications:
Initiative, professional demeanor, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency with technology and administrative/office processes a plus. Open to all majors. Ideal for students who have a career interest in counseling, education, human resources, business administration/management, marketing, higher education, or human services.

Purpose or Role of the Position within the Organization:
To assist in efforts to fulfill the objectives of the Hall Associates Career Center. This includes a full range of comprehensive in-person and online career services for students and alumni.
Duties/Responsibilities of the position and how they relate to the purpose or role
The duties listed below describe the day-to-day activities necessary to provide support to students, alumni and Career Center staff:
- Assisting students and alumni with basic career services including online career portal registration/usage and intake for career advising, resumes review, and internship/job search requests.
- Providing front office and phone reception and administrative support, including but not limited to responding to emails, mail pick-up/delivery, scheduling appointments for career services staff, managing Zoom session waiting rooms, and event set-up assistance.
- Increasing student awareness of career services, resources, and events through on-campus and social media channels.
- In some cases, conducting career services overview presentations for student groups and classrooms.
- Engaging with students, alumni, faculty/staff, and employers.
