PCA - Personal Care Aide

This class is a 40 hour DMAS (Department of Medical Assistance Services) approved training to train and teach qualified, caring individuals to assist with and provide personal services, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation and assisting with vital signs, to clients in their homes.

Details

A textbook is included in the fee and provided at class. You will be responsible to supply navy blue scrub pants, white scrub shirt and predominantly white tennis shoes. You will also be required to have a watch with a second hand to use in the clinical setting. A blood pressure cuff is available for practice and available to purchase. These classes are non-credit classes and therefore not eligible for Financial Aid.

Cost $295

Class Requirements

  • Student must be 17 years of age or older
  • Background check of your criminal history – included in class fee
  • Student required to take a PPD Test – included in class fee
