Blue Stars Men's Soccer lost to Patrick Henry Community College in the last minute of the match. Virginia Western led most of the match after a Kyle Gunville free kick in the 18th minute beat the goalkeeper to the bottom left corner of goal. The defense of James McDaniel and Kevin Chahine kept the Patriot forwards scoreless through the first half. Though the Blue Stars kept pressuring the Patriots midfield with play from Freshmen Ryan Smith and Juan Hernandez, Patrick Henry squeezed in two goals in the last 12 minutes of the match, ending 2-1. The Men's Soccer team wanted to thank everyone for their support this year and is very excited about the team's national competitive season next year.
