The Sister Circle, a retention initiatitve of Virginia Western Community College’s Black Student Retention Project (BSRP), is a group of Black women who recognize that we are not in the battle alone. We are willing to work together to improve our lives and communities by fostering relationships that encourage individuality, self-esteem and accountability. We will achieve this mission through mentoring, education, networking, leadership, personal development, civic engagement and "sister talk". Meetings take place bi-weekly.
