Practical Nursing (LPN) :: Estimated Cost
This is only an estimate of some expenses associated with acceptance into the program and subject to change. Details about these items are covered during the orientation held for accepted students. Students are responsible for their own transportation to classes and facilities utilized for clinical experiences. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be responsible for their nursing board application fee as stipulated by the State Board of Nursing and the licensing exam fee. The college (VWCC) does not guarantee job placement upon completion of the program.

NOTE: These costs are only an estimate and may not be limited to the items listed. Payment of tuition is on a semester by semester basis according to the number of credit hours a student has enrolled in. The total estimated tuition is based on the 52 credit curriculum. Tuition and book expenses for prerequisite courses which may be needed (such as Algebra I and Biology) or other developmental classes identified by placement test and taken prior to entry into the program, is not included as necessity cannot be determined until application is made and will vary by applicant.
Financial Aid funds can be used for tuition & textbooks, but not for medical related expenses, uniforms/accessories, background checks, etc.
