Medical Laboratory Technology - Estimated Cost

This is an estimated list of some expenses that should be anticipated if accepted into the program. Students are responsible for choosing the provider of their medical care and expenses vary accordingly. Students are responsible for laundering of uniforms and their own transportation to facilities utilized for clinical experiences. VWCC does not offer student housing. The college does not guarantee job placement upon completion of the program.

Actual tuition is on a semester by semester basis according to credit hours enrolled in. The estimated tuition is based on the 55 credits of the curriculum that can be completed after acceptance into the program (there are 11 prerequisite credits). It does not include any costs for prerequisite courses: high school Algebra I & Algebra II (or MTE 1-9), college BIO 141, college CHM 111, and college ENG 111. The VWCC Medical Laboratory Technology Program is a restricted admission program.
